In a recent security breach, Disney has reportedly fallen victim to hacker group NullBulge, who claims to have infiltrated the company’s internal Slack platform, resulting in the leak of over 1TB of sensitive data. This breach includes messages, files, code, and other internal resources.

The incident, believed to be linked to leaks about Aliens Fireteam Elite 2, a game developed in collaboration with Disney’s 20th Century Games, has exposed nearly 10,000 channels of data. NullBulge asserts access to unreleased projects, raw images, code snippets, login credentials, and links to internal API/web pages.

While the authenticity of the breach has yet to be officially confirmed, a screenshot displaying various files has surfaced. The NullBulge website, where the breach was initially announced, has since become inaccessible, preventing further downloads of the alleged data. Disney has not issued a public statement addressing the breach.

If verified, this incident underscores the growing threat of cyberattacks targeting major corporations, echoing similar breaches at Rockstar Games and Insomniac Games in recent years. These events highlight the critical importance of robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive corporate data from increasingly sophisticated threats.
